Pastor Kent graduated from Toccoa Falls Bible College in Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministries. He served in a church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and then moved to Charles City in October of 1999. Kent served as the Assistant Pastor at Bethany Alliance for three years and transitioned to the Senior Pastor position in October of 2002. Kent and his wife Jamie were married in 1998 and have four children - Carlee, Brooklyn, Andrew, and Addison.
Kent's heart is to pursue God's heart and help the church be fully engaged in experiencing the life God has for us.
Bill McLeland

Pastor Bill graduated from the University of Norther Iowa in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education. He and his wife Kristin then moved to Charles City to teach. They began attending Bethany Alliance in 2003, came to know the Lord, and began faithfully seeking God's will for their lives. Bill was hired as the full-time associate pastor with a focus on children and family ministry. Bill and Kristin have two daughters- Jennifer and Mikayla.
Bill's greatest joy in ministry comes from being able to help and serve others. His greatest desire is for kids to understand the deep love that God has for them and to see how God can use them daily to impact His Kingdom. Bill longs to see children develop strong Godly character and to equip parents so they can actively engage in the spiritual lives of their children.
